You asked, we listened! Now with Usage AI you can simply plug in your management/payer account to capture a consolidated view of your available compute savings across your AWS organization. Moreover, all Reserved Instance commitments will be provisioned in/out of this central account, meaning:

1. There is no more need to independently register each account as a Seller on the Reserved Instance Marketplace
2. You can instantly start saving for your entire AWS organization
3. There are no extra IAM roles and policies that need to be added for new or existing accounts.

How do we do this?

We start by using the cost and usage reports from the management account. This gives a view of the instance types that can be reserved in all the children accounts. Then, by analyzing the cost and usage reports for the past 30 days, we recommend the instances that are safe to reserve.
